Anatomy of Stress

We know stress management is a major skill to have these days with so much unknown, uncertain and unclear. When we take the time to learn about our own stress tolerance and flexibility, we empower ourselves to choose a healthy response to stress events.

There are a few key skills we can bring into focus when it comes to maximizing our understanding of stress. Covering the physiology, neurobiology and psychology of both acute and chronic stress, we can recognize signs and symptoms of stress injury as well as create habits around reducing harm.

This course is especially useful for organisations with high levels of stress and trauma exposure and is a regular training provided to emergency responders across New Zealand.
